The restaurant that reshaped Cantonese dining is marking the milestone with a week of celebrations.

Chef Jow invites five chef friends, old and new, into the kitchen to cook with him. First up is Chef Louis Tikaram of E.p. & L.p. in Los Angeles, who Jow knows from their time cooking in Sydney and playing post-service Guitar Hero.

back by popular demand and for two days only, ho lee fook brings back five classic dishes from the last half decade with the ho lee fook hits menu.

Later in the week Chef Dan Hong graces the woks, Dan was Jow’s first friend in the kitchen at Tetsuya’s in Sydney, where they worked on the same section and subsequently went on to open Ms G’s and Mr Wong, two of sydney’s most popular Cantonese restaurants.
In September Jow is joined by Chef matt abergel of yardbird who has supported ho lee fook since day one. as well as chef Victor Liong of Lee Ho Fook, a friend and colleague from Mr Wong and “a weapon in the kitchen”. Lastly in October Jow joins forces with fellow ‘Black Sheep’ and friend Chef Daniel Calvert of one-Michelin star BELON.
late-night hip hop party
Rounding out the week is a ticketed Hip Hop party on Saturday, 31 August. Kicking off from 10 pm, ho lee fook, known for its legendary late-night parties, promises vinyl-scratching DJs, break-dancers, hip hop MC, live graffiti artist, lion dances and of course free-flow drinks and a guaranteed wild night.
